Subject: Scouting yesterday

Southeast Nebraska
Was out checking a couple of fields yesterday while spot spraying some weeds. Could really use a rain to help keep the corn looking healthy. The year on the left is Fontanelle 8A104RBC and the next is Fontanelle 8A207RBC, and the years on the right are from the same plant. Most of these plants have the second and third ear holding on but if we don't get some rain soon I'm sure we will loose them. The last variety is Fontanelle 8D901RBC. All were planted between April 22 and May 8th. Yield estimates are from 150 to 235 bu. I just hope it holds on till the rains come.
