East Central South Dakota
I went to Webster today and there is some corn up in the Crocker hills and north that just is NOT going to make maturity----willing to call it now. Only question left will it make grain quality at all and will they let it dry in the field which in that area makes for a good chance for a lot of PP the next year. Saw some good corn also, but boy does it need some heat and a late frost. Cool August and September it won't make it.
