Subject: My crop tour this week

Manitoba
So I travelled from brandon, manitoba south to rugby,nd across to grand forks and down to Minneapolis. I have to say I have never seen the crops looking so poor before. It is a trip I have made about 5 times before and without a doubt it's the worst crop I have seen. The only above average area was from devils lake to twenty miles west of grand forks. The rrv was too wet early, and still is too wet. Further south it appeared as if it was too wet in spring the whole way and now appeared to be getting dry as I noticed wheat crops burning up on the hill tops. I have never seen so much n deficiency in corn in my life. Bottom leaves firing all over the place and only have the corn was early tassle. It didn't make me feel a whole lot better though as my area was still the worst on the whole trip. Just thought I'd share what I saw and there is a below average crop coming from what I saw on this particular trip.
