Nwmo | I think he meant no rain in June but need rain in July and August. I would agree to a point, we certainly didn't need all the rain we got in June, it hurt the beans more than it helped the corn in my opinion. Now we are paying for shallow roots in corn. The 30 day map posted above is interesting as it shows us in a garden spot for July precipitation, however its been several weeks and a few 95+ degree days and the ground is hard as a rock and the corn is already tipping back from the full ears we had 10 days ago.
