I look for corn to be edging up this fall. 1) Don't think the crop will finish like they think and 2) Guys will store every kernel they can either at home, elevator, or both. They'll only sell the bare minimum. Sorry Uncle Sam, don't be looking for a big revenue this year.
there is only about one-sixth the usual bushels on the books of end users. Their is going to be some very serious discussions with lenders this fall about paying off lines of credit. Many have equipment payments in the fall, and zero bushels sold. Many operators are gonna need a transfusion before spring. Sad but true.
