Sanilac Co. Michigan | I've got news for you, rented ground is rented ground and you can cry to your landlord about increased expense and the need to be reasonable till your blue in the face. Most, at least here, couldn't give two dead fly's about your cash problems. They care mostly about their cash problem. That's to say" don't make your problem my problem". All those little extras you think ought to count for something, don't. Some other yutz is right there ready to pay what your paying and then some. There is a lot of ground here owned or controlled by non-farming folks, and when you talk to them about "soil mining" and land improvements they look at you like your from Mars.
This little rant is directed towards all the pricks that spent the last half dozen years chasing land and running up rents and undercutting others by paying excessive rates, all the while trying to cover their actions and soothing their consciences by saying the mantra "It's just business". | |
