Subject: Yukon air ride and big trailer

Huntington, IN
I have a 2009 Yukon XL Denali with the auto level air ride suspension. When I bought it we were under the assumption the air suspension would keep up with our hog trailer and be able to handle the weight from it. The trailer is a 20ft Exiss low profile deal that isn't terribly heavy empty. Loaded you definitely know it's back there. The first time we pulled it, the air pumped up like it should have and everything was fine. While heading to the show we were going to the air continually dropped and wouldn't pump up. When we started the truck to come home it pumped up again and within an hour was down again. Where do I start looking and is it even worth looking for the issue or just get rid of the thing and go with something bigger? I checked with the trailer guy to see if he had airbags for these but it is not an option because of the system already on it. I personally think an Excursion would be a better fit for the trailer.
