| The scoring tool they refer to is (or was) called Paper Tiger, a small plastic tool with a rounded top and rollers with teeth on the bottom. Roll it over the paper to be removed and then spray the paper with water or solution, and allow time for it to soak. Use a spray bottle. If wall was not properly sized when paper was hung originally, you may in fact pull off the surface of the dry wall. You can use paper tiger and wetting solution on large surface at a time; if it seems to dry out as moisture soaks through paper, just spray again. If you use anything but water, remember to protect woodwork and floor. | |
