You are right about the External radio/TruTracker situation - we have gotten around that using external GPS Receivers on the TruTracker, but only because those customers had them already in other machines. I honestly have never tried the RTCM3 thing on an FMX, but I believe there was a change in the software in Ver 7.3 or thereabouts that allows the receiver to use RTCM3, but I have only used it in a CORS situation with a DCM-300 modem.

Being a TopCon base, it should also be able to output CMR+ - we are using these a fair bit in some community base network operations with external Pac Crest UHF radios. If your base outputs CMR, you would get around both issues.....
