Farmerkuk that's what I am thinking. When I feed a few steers and raised dairy hiefers I ate the cull steers. Now I feed a bunch more cattle than I did and have a wife and kids and inlaws, so I thought about killing a nice one for us. I guess I was worried that the inlaws and friends would not even like it any more than just killing a problem fat.
I guess I could just wait till a ( nice) one has a problem at the end and kill that one.
It amuses me how farmers sell the very best animals, then they eat the culls. We used to. |
