NE Iowa | A higher CE number is better. I wonder, is the percentage displayed as a % or a .xx number? If it is a percentage it likely means Bull 1 is in the top 35% of the breed and bull 2 would be in the top 65%. I would guess that it is displayed as .35, which is an EPD accuracy number. .01 is low accuracy or not many progeny to prove the EPD, .99 would mean very accurate with lots of progeny to prove the epd. Accuracy numbers seldomly get much above .85 unless a bull is very heavily used, so a .65 is respectable for bull 2 and you could expect him to breed true to his epd with some certainty. | |
