I don't believe there is a Black locust anywhere near these sprouts. We also have them up at a rental farm. Both areas are bottoms the rental had the creek straighten years ago say 20 mine is untouched since 1984 or earlier. In fact where mine grow is basically the start of a bottom. Someone told me once what they thought the sprouts where but of course I can not remember.
