Springfield, MN | The coop I work for treats alot of seed and when you treat your seed, make sure you doing it on a relatively dry day, or slow it down. We had problems this spring with seed plugging planters. We also had a squirrel cage fan blowing on the seed before they went up the conveyor. Next year we're adding a talc applicator downstream of the fan to help eliminate that problem. | |
