At typical rates of 2 pints of 2,4-D you will kill soybeans. I suppose you can try for natural
selection for resistant types.
Dow has been working on this method through GMO methods.
And they have the Enlist system for both corn and soybeans in development and
waiting for approval.
The bad thing is that 2,4-D does not control very many weeds any longer.
This new technology may very well be obsolete before it is even approved.
