Subject: nitrogen management using turkey litter

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
I am buying some turkey litter. 30-40-30 analysis... I know only to expect 15# of N from each ton. But if I fall apply the litter and chisel it in, when should I expect the N?

I like to apply N 3 times.
1. Preplant AMS 40# N
2. Side dress AA 100# N
3. Topdress urea late 45# N

Where in my N program should I back off my N rate?

Planning on using 2 tons per acre ahead of C/B rotation, and using 3 tons per acre for C/C/B rotation
