As for additives, if you have real proof there is something terribly wrong with them, you ought to alert the USDA and FDA. Meanwhile, I don't like my food to spoil. Our system is not perfect, but it's pretty good compared to what most of the human race has experienced over time. My hats off to those who work hard to make it possible.

My doctor thinks I've done quite well on what you are calling garbage.

Again, it's not the food that is a problem. It's people's choices. What you eat to match your specific health needs is your responsibility.

If a guy opens a hot dog stand, it is not his responsibility to sell enough other stuff with each hot dog to balance the total dietary needs of everyone who buys one. Other food items to match some or all of that need can be sourced at lots of other places, even at McDonalds.
