20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | Had the same thing in 2012. Dad hasn't bought hail in years... his 35 bu beans became 10 bu beans... that was tough on dad... my closest farm had less then 10% damage. I felt guilty cutting beans that year. After dad found out I had wind/hail Insu he asked if we could finish his before mine. He was dead serious. He didn't know if he could afford to lose another $. Luckily grip played well for us all and he was fine. But that was a sobering fall for all of us. |
