Monsanto looks a lot different today than they did in the 80's... Seed is so much higher than in the 80's... Feels like seed has gone up more than machinery or fertilizer... We were spending less per acre for seed in the 80's than we were machinery or dry fertilizer... Now I believe seed cost are more than machinery or dry fertilizer on a per acre basis...
