stronghurst il | I have a bunch of down rye that has weeds and clover starting to come thru it. I cannot grind thru it anymore it just will not go. We have a 1688 on a 17.5 platform and it will not even go into the combine plugs the head wraps around the auger. We would like to find a swather or pickup head. We had some down oats that i took my 9 ft strait disc mower and mowed raked then went along with the combine and picked it up with the platform but that didnt work very well. What do we want and where do we go any suggestions ideas would be much appreiciated. thanks. | |
