Mascoutah, Illinois | how in the world do you have all of your new crop soybeans sold? If I remember correctly you once posted your family farms around 5000 acres. If so, what is the secret to forward contracting all of your new crop beans and knowing exactly what yield to put on them when it is July 22? If you sold them at $12.50, you would have sold them weeks ago which makes me even more in awe of your marketing skills.
I don't know about anyone's moisture situation other than my own and I can say the yard is turning brown as water levels are lower now in the immediate area than they were in 2012.
I don't disagree with your $3.40ish target either. It is a monster support level from June of 2010. | |
