Mid Michigan | I hate the metric system. When I watch the news they always have a story on where the plane was 3000 meters in the sky or was flying 1500 kilometers to it's destination and I always want to scream :just tell me how many miles it was or how many feet high it was! I'm like some of these other guys on here, I don't care what the rest of the world is doing and neither do most people in the US. Everybody else is always copying this country so why are they still dicking around with the metric system? If they want to be like us use the feet, inches, miles , quarts, gallons etc. I have to use both systems all day at work and constantly go back and forth between the two so I know them both well. I just really resent having to do it. | |
