| I'm in the country, and personally, I subscribe from a wireless ISP. We have an external antennae mounted on the house, aimed towards the ISP's tower in town. I'm pretty happy with the speeds - I'm paying $32/month for about 7 mb/s.
Previously, I had used DirecPC (from Direct TV) but that was back about a decade ago. Response time (latency) was nasty for my needs.
My co-worker uses a small wireless access point from Verizon with great success. It seems to be speedy.
