Dad had a rear view mirror from an old car rigged up on his 2MH corn picker when I was that age. He could check the level in the wagon without having to crane his neck around. I do believe the devil took ahold of me one day and .... well it's one of those stories that may get brought up at family get togethers that is meant to humble the target just a little, lol. Dad was rather unhappy about the outcome and I knew it. He didn't have to raise his hand or his voice and I knew it. The mirror got replaced and that devil might have won the day but not the battle. I didn't lose shootin' privileges but I thought harder before pulling the trigger after that. | |
