| First of all I am not too tech savy. Very basic understanding so please bear with me. I am planning on putting the Watch Dog monitoring system on my corn dryer (GSI/FarmFans). Can remotely monitor and change settings on grain dryer via smart phone or computer/laptop. I can currently get wi-fi signal at the corn dryer, (or at least sometimes) from the wi-fi in the house and farm office. Have the Cisco Linksys E 1200. My question is should I install a wi-fi booster to get a stronger signal at the dryer? Or a stronger wi-fi to start with, if that is a possiblity. I assume there are stronger wi-fi possibilities, but then I don't know. If a booster, does it need to be from Cisco or can I mix and match different name equipment. Thanks for any advice, and again apologize for lack of knowledge. AgTalk is a wealth of knowledge on so many subjects. Thanks again. | |
