ECCO | Here in the arid high plains, we try to grow moisture, whether it be from summer fallow or whatever? If something takes away from you doing that, well, enough said. There has been plenty of people try to get away and experiment, but usually they come back, some even too late to save the farm. "Here" cover crops are you second crop. We only have one crop. A wise old timer told me once, "don't ever listen to anyone who gets twice as much rain as you do!!!" | |
