WCIN | Interested in replys cause I've been contemplating this same thing. My plan is take belt tension off by locking gate and raising tension arm with tractor hydraulics, grind paint off end of shafts, chain the roller to loader bucket, remove bolts holding bearing housing, move roll enough to slide bearing off without taking roll out from under belts, new bearing and reassemble. I'm sure there are easier/faster/safer ways but I'm a one man band and don't want to have to wrestle that roller out if I don't have to. | |
