north-central Indiana west of Fulton | We have had the same thing only it is a 585 and says CaseInternational since '90 (it's a 1985). Drive shaft is offset on the early ones and the dry clutch is week on heavy loader work. Simple, durable but cumbersome to shift if no shuttle. Ours was our manure loader for 7000 hours and seldom used high range. Always thought it lacked power in high range gears and is maybe worse with 9300 hours now.
