NW KS/ SC ID | the clutch brake is hard to find. a buddy had one that the PO disconnected the clutch brake from the pedal, and had a seperate lever, so a guy would clutch, stop with foot brake, and try to shift, and only used the clutch brake if necessary.
a few minor things and a clutch brake were all he had to do to his, ran if for over a year doing some moderately heavy tillage, and put it on an online auction when he replaced it with a big Massey 4880 4wd.
He got along well with it, and it did good on fuel, so while it is not an 895, it isnt a 1800 Massey. :) If you can get it cheap and wont work it too hard, I would say give it a try.
all had the 555 V-8 cummins. made in England IIRC. parts are not plentiful, but IIRC my buddy never had an issue finding parts for the engine, just the clutch brake.
good luck! | |
