ford new Holland 8670 error code problem

Subject: ford new Holland 8670 error code problem


SE Iowa		Was doing some rotary mowing the other day when the tractor wouldn't move came up with error code f303 which is a transmission solenoid short. Went though all the solenoids moving them around thought we had it figured out put a new one on still says 303. The wires going to that solenoid has 12.5 volts going to it. I've unhooked the batteries to reset the computer too. Anybody have some experience with that? Don't know where to go from here. Thanks.

NCIA		Look for a worn spot in the wiring harness under the cab approximatly below the brake pedals, the wiring harness passes along a hyd line and vibration tends to wear through the harness wrap and will short out.
