Using a 2955 JD here. The wheat going into soybean stubble would be on firmer soil. Duals help, full set of front weights. Ours is a lower link 2ph, not a dead weight dolly system. Been using the adjustable depth stop kit from JD for 17 years. The constant down pressure only changes the pressure on the down pressure springs on the go.The guage wheels and springs, also weight of planter control depth.
