New Hamburg, Ontario | We bougtha 500T last fall and run it with a 2600. We did have some issues with communication. the "Case" screen popped up right away on the 2600 but we could not get the drill to recognize the speed from the JD receiver so we put a radar on the drill. We could control the clutches and rate thru the case page on the 2600. After a couple of days of planting some strange things happened like planting when drill lifted etc and then we rebooted the system and then it woorked again. After we were done planting and playing with the system we got the "case " page to control the drill to come up on the armrest display on our 8R tractor so we hope that if it is separate from the 2600 that it will work as a vitual terminal. We are waiting for dry ground to play with it this spring. We also hooked up a JD rate contoller to run the clutches for section control but have not tried that yet either | |
