IIRC there is a difference between what you can pull with an RV vs 'truck' or 'farm truck'.  I don't think the dozer would qualify for the RV designation.  That said lots of people pulling horse trailers, RV's and other toys with 2 ton trucks. 

Son drives a 450 pickup and he's gotten pulled over pulling our 32' gooseneck.  Cop wanted to write him up for no DOT sticker, took several minutes to convince him he was just a farmer.
