Subject: Help with a JD 7000 monitor

NE IL
I believe it is a model 2000. This year we moved it from our 4320 to 4440. It is hard wired to the battery. I put some seed in and played around the other day. The lights for individual rows work fine as does the ALARM. The problem I am having is the area where the population displays is way too dim to read almost as if it is not lit up at all. It appears to be stuck on 33.3 but its really too dim to accurately read. It doesn't matter if I have the selector pointed to scan or individual rows it doesn't make a difference. Is my speed sensor on the wheel no longer working? Or is it something else? Also, I know I bumped the "control" knob when I moved it but I don't have a manual to even see what that does.
