Subject: Lime on no till

Beresford SD
Most of our land has PH from 7-8. However I have one farm we discovered has some low PH zones, upper 5 to 6. How effective is lime when I do not till it in ? Would pellitized lime be a better option or will a fine powder lime which is cheaper work in no till environment?
