Mercer County, Ohio on the Indiana line
So you're planting I assume?

A few guys up here have started but I only saw 30 acres in and maybe another 100 acres with planters and drills rolling. Quite a few people field cultivating. The ground is working nice but it's still darned cold.

Dad and I are holding off for these cold rains this weekend to pass before thinking about planting, we haven't even begun burn down with all the cold nights we've been getting. I think we're getting frost tonight.

For the OP's question, I keep seed in the bag until ground temps hit 55-60.
