Subject: Spring Tillage for Continuous Corn

Would like to rip up some corn stalk ground A.S.A.P. and then put back to corn. My seed sales person is advising me not to do this spring tillage work as corn yields will be greatly reduced vs: if you had done this tillage work in the fall. He is suggesting I put this ground into beans. Would appreciate your comments on spring tillage work and expected corn yields here in N.E. Iowa.
