Dalhart, TX | I remember that like yesterday. Dad had a farm just about 10 miles away from the hardest hit part. We had water running for a couple days by the farm. He had 5+ inches but story was where the storm just sat they had 17" and HWY 54 was closed for over a month because water was over the road.
It wasn't from the ice melting, there was literally a lake and nowhere for the water to go til it dried up. | |
