| The one and only thing to that will shut the anti-crowd up for good, would be for the ethonal industry to gone on extended maintenance for 6 months, removing 10% of the nations liquid petroleum. Do you think the price would go up only 10%? That's why I disagree with the number used that ethanol reduces the price at the pump by something like 57 cents. If we lost 10 percent of fuel supply overnight, prices would go parabolic. I remember when Quadaffi was saber rattling in Libya, crude was in the 40's, and within 6 weeks, prices doubled over the PERCIEVED loss of 2% of the worlds oil. And it wasn't even lost, and yet prices still doubled. | |
