East Central South Dakota | Look at the lines of pipelines on the maps of existing pipelines on links posted above. We have pipelines above aquifers all over the country. They cross rivers, swamps and cities. This issue is just big money using environmental activists and environmental fear to make money off of a bunch of freight that should be flowing through a pipeline. The desire to outcome over opposing environmental political ideology has become more important than problem solving. Sad part of this whole dilemma is that it is going to strangle the profitability out of agriculture in western Minnesota and the Dakotas right at the time our expansion in grain production could have made an impact on domestic and exportable grain volumes and movements. |
