| There is a salty being loaded with corn bound for Ireland from Lake Michigan. The grain merchant told me not to say to much, but it is the 1st freighter they have loaded in 2 years. When I asked why he replied corn was to expensive but now they are competitive again, and thinks there could be more boats coming. Maybe Duluth will start shipping again to. The freighter did get hung up in the ice and called an icebreaker in 3 times so it might take a little time to get things really going. So maybe just when you think rail has us totally over the barrel there will be another way! | |
