North Central Oklahoma | I was with my in-laws at their old home town for a get together with some of their old friends. One of my father in-laws friends had the nick name "Peanuts". I didn't know that and couldn't believe my ears after church in a family restaurant when various people kept saying his nick name. They were not doing a very good job pronouncing the "T" in peanuts. I finally had to ask my wife as I was some what baffled. These people are so straight and narrow that my mother-in-law won't allow beer in the house so I was quite confused. After asking my wife I just got the nasty look from her. | |
