I'm not sure that the price of soybeans has anything to do with the price of moving soybeans. Vessels compete for loads and those rates have recently got hammered as China slows. You can track that using:

Here is a little more on the Chinese defaults Tara mentioned. It seems the banks are pulling credit on the buyers. What do you suppose those guys know that we don't?
