McLeod County, MN | I was thinking the last few weeks here that we would be in the final leg up on price, and the market would get its bid in before planters are in the field. Now it almost feels like the top bid is in, and its gonna take more serious planting delays to add much more premium. I thought corn would have been more supported this week from all the various reports that came out bullish on grain and Ukraine, but the trade is in love with the soybeans. Even the cold weather got shrugged off in my opinion.
I have a big bet placed that May corn options will go off the board at $5 next Friday. I it can hold if planters start going heavy next week. | |
