Eastern Half of Ohio
A larger carry-in of corn will have a direct impact on soybean basis as less space will be available and the commodity showing less carry will try to move right at harvest thus driving freight higher. We have to produce at trendline yields but if that happens we could be looking at a situation where it pays 25+ cents to carry your soybeans to December on the farm. I guess it comes down to whether you need to deliver while harvesting or you can wait.
