S Illinois | When we had very large carryouts of 2+ billion, did we have such a worry about where to put all of the corn? Has our storage, space commercial and on farm, not kept up with crop size? Was the government storage programs a big driver in inventory management? It seems like for a carryout of 1.3-1.5, we are having a lot of handwringing about poor basis and moving corn just to make room. Maybe this is just a localized problem? | |
