Do you have the yearly breakdown of bean basis? Would be interesting to see how much variation there is year to year. Hard to say if 3-4 cents is significant or not. Also commercial stocks as of Mar. 1 was 67 million bushels higher than last year buying roughly 2 extra weeks of crush usage.
As to processors worried about locating beans, wouldn't the spreads be a better gauge as to their worry. I thought we were told that an inverse is indicative of a shortness of physical.
