I don't live on the farm where the cattle are at and we have kept dogs there for 20 years. Sometimes one, but as many as three (they are Aussies) work cattle everyday and seem very happy. They only come back to the house once they are retired. The kennel on the farm is 15X20. I think your dog will be fine there.
