Trying to decide whether to buy some cattle rubs or dust bags for fly control. Have been using fly tags but not real pleased with control as our fly season is so long. What are your thoughts on rubs vs dust bags. Kind of leaning toward dust bags as more simple to refill. No mixing of diesel/chemical just refill with dust when needed.

Appreciate your input.

+1 on fly tags not lasting long enough. I am going without this year. Was going to try and feed and keep sprayed once a week, but seems like chemical you can buy at feed store doesn't last more than a day or so. I tried the rubs before, get tired of picking them up, and some of my pastures I don't have a good place to hang them where they cattle must walk under.
