Driftless SW Wisconsin
On the dust bags vs rubs, I would be very concerned about breathing the insecticide dust when refilling the bags.

I have had good luck with the rubs and face flyps I think they are called strung across the lane to the waterer.

Putting 5 oz of permectrin in a simple old fashioned 2.5 gal gas can (clearly marked for the rubs only) then filling with diesel is really not much different than mixing 2 cycle for the chain saw. I then pour (not spray!) It on the rub from the gas can spout tube.

Insecticide mineral is supposed to keep flies from breeding in the manure piles but does nothing for the flies already there.
