Disconnecting or Removing master cylinder from 7000 planter?

I tried ours without the master for a year (7000, conservation). I put a 50/50 flow divider in where you have the T. It went up nice a flat but typically came down one side first. Also it would go all the way up higher than normal and drop down lower than normal.

Have since replaced the master cylinder, but put it on top of tongue where it is out of danger of getting hit by rocks etc (hyd drive so no clutch to work)
